Hyewoo​‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍​ asked Jinwon how much detail he should go into. When Jinwon told him to tell him everything, even the trivial things, Hyewoo nodded and promised he would. The thought of being together with Jinwon all day and then having to be apart frightened him. Even so, he couldn’t do something that might harm his father just because he was afraid of being alone.

As July began, the weather grew hotter by the day. To avoid the heat of midday, Hyewoo took walks around the garden with Jinwon in the mornings and evenings. He was happy simply walking beside him in silence, just the two of them. Knowing that he would soon return to waiting for Jinwon at the quarters as he had before made those ordinary moments feel all the more precious.
